That's why with every single item that is purchased, 40% of the profits are donated to elephant saving sanctuaries, organizations, and rehabilitation centers who share our same philosophies. So go ahead, be a kind human.

As a lifelong Elephant lover and someone who tries to be good to our planet and its beings, I set out to find a way to help save these gracious animals. I founded Elephunds to help raise both funds and awareness about the problems they face. By supporting sanctuaries and rehabilitation centers through donations, it enables them to continue to supply their resident elephants with quality food, water, veterinary care, and a well-maintained reserve.

The exploitation of elephants honestly breaks my heart. Elephants are still being poached illegally for the ivory trade, forced into entertainment industries, abandoned, abused, and neglected. The elephants in the entertainment and/or work industry, are not there by choice. They are being forced to perform. These trapped elephants are treated poorly and abused with chains and bull hooks to act accordingly. This is no life for an elephant. This beautiful species is meant to roam free and live amongst other wildlife.

Many people are not aware of all the hardships this species faces, since most of the abuse and neglect is done behind closed doors. My hope is to continue to spread awareness through this website and other social media platforms.
